CrossFit Classes

Predominantly we offer daily CrossFit classes with a professional coach who leads the whole hour from warm up to workout to cool down. Classes vary daily to include strength training, gymnastic skill development and plenty of metabolic conditioning. Our classes include many functional movements such as squatting, jumping, rowing, throwing, deadlifting, olympic lifting, running, pull ups, rope climbs and a whole host of other movements. We can scale workouts to meet the individual need of members and we track scores to ensure the programming is producing improvement in fitness levels. Our facility can also be used as a regular gym if members would rather train in open gym hours than participate in classes.

On Ramp

New members are required to complete an On Ramp course. This course consists of two separate one to one sessions with one of our experienced coaches during which they will breakdown and teach you the necessary movements required to participate in classes. Over the two classes the coach will discuss the role of the whiteboard, the importance of scaling workouts and managing your training aswell as general information about our facility. The On Ramp ensures that members can safely begin their CrossFit journey and that they have the confidence and knowledge to begin training in regular classes.

Gymnastic Workshops

Each month we endeavour to hold a gymnastic workshop. We select a gymnastic movement to work on for the hour which is broken down into small components and then put back together as the whole movement. This gives our members the chance to practice the drills required to master the more complicated skills and allows them to put these movements back into regular class workouts having given them more focus.

Barbell Class

We hold a weekly barbell class on Thursdays at 5.30pm and it is one of our most popular classes in which we look in depth at the olympic lifts (snatch or clean & jerk). An experienced coach will break down the technique, offer accessory exercises and mobility work which will all help to improve efficiency of the olympic lift in question. An improvement in olympic lifting will directly translate to becoming more efficient in general CrossFit classes.


Every Tuesday at 9.30am we offer a 30 minutes pilates class which is hosted by a professional pilates instructor. Pilates aims to strengthen the body with particular emphasis on core strength to improve general fitness and wellbeing.

This class is £3 for members and non members.

Personal Training

Atlantic Way CrossFit has experienced personal trainers that can work with you individually to help you meet your goals. If you feel like you thrive in a one to one setting then our in-house personal trainers would be happy to meet you and discuss your goals. These sessions would be individually priced by the personal trainer that you request.
